A tortoise named Bertie has proud owners, Marco Calzini and his wife Janine, who explain that when they discovered Charlie’s record (Charlie is the guy who’s working with the owners), they tested Bertie’s running speed against it and he beat it every time. They made an application for the record, and he’s not sure if he can performing on that day. Speaking of Bertie’s inclusion in 2016 world record book, owner Marco said, “I used to collect the Guinness world Records books-my first was the 1980 edition-and I fondly remember seeing them all in the shops. To be in the book is a dream come true, a massive achievement!” Since achieving his Guinness world Record, Bertie has become a famous tortoise. He now lives in luxury. His Guinness world records certificate is proudly displayed on the wall. They may not usually be known for being fast movers, but Bertie is a smart tortoise.

 Another world record is about the highest mountain ‘Ever-est’. The most wonderful snowy mountain in the world, this mountain is really high, almost as high as the airplanes fly. This mountain is at 29,002ft. This mountain is named after the man named “Col. Sir George Everest (UK). Who was Surveyo-General of India from 1830 to 1843.” Many things could happen on this mountain – good things and bad things. There are so many people who want to climb to the top. But it’s too high and they might be in danger.

The problem is about thieves. Sometimes, certain guys on the Marshall Islands use one person to steal something from my house at night. If the person didn’t do what they said, they’ll beat him up. They keep doing this every night, and one of the nights my cousin-in-law came from basketball and he saw the guy trying to steal our shoes. He pulled the guy’s t-shirt and said, “Go somewhere and never return.” So, the guy was very scared and he ran away and never returned. So, they went to the other houses and stole some more stuff at night and ran away. They’ve been doing this since I don’t know when. But, I think they’re stealing because they want something. But, they’re not asking because they want to just steal the thing they want. The thieves have to work for themselves to get what they want. They should apply to get a job.

Earth’s Global Warming is now changed. Because the weather – it’s kind of hot. The temperature is now turning from cold to hot. Our atmosphere has a hole on it, and maybe that’s why our globe is turning hot. Which means the energy is trapped here by greenhouse gases in the air. Global average temperature has risen 2 degrees Celsius, or less in coming years. In 2010, lots of people agreed to help this. To stop global warming, people can ride a bicycle or skateboard instead of driving.

Dirty air and global warming is causing the waves to get really high. For examples, the islands of the Marshall Islands are drowning. Because, the waves are higher and the people are feeling scared. Anyways, the waves are strong enough and the water getting inside the houses and breaking them even though the people are inside their houses. But, the big waves are really strong so which means all Marshallese people are afraid because of the Earth’s global warming.
